Electrician – Small Equipment
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain small electrical equipment (e.g., hand tools, portable generators, small pumps, compact cutters).
- Perform preventive maintenance: inspection, cleaning, lubrication, insulation checks, and minor part replacements.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults (wiring, switches, relays, connectors) using multimeters and basic test rigs.
- Maintain workshop records: job cards, part consumption, calibration logs.
- Ensure HSE compliance: lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO), safe handling of tools.
- Coordinate with stores for timely spare procurement; escalate recurring faults to Maintenance Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 3–5 years’ experience repairing small electrical tools/equipment in industrial/construction settings.
- Solid knowledge of basic circuits, safety standards, and test instruments.
- Ability to read simple schematics/wiring diagrams.
- UAE experience preferred; Arabic is an advantage.
